Fun talk. Greg was a great host, and we found some surprises in the difference between the survey responses taken before and after the talk (quick arXiv paper below)
@balajis You can think of a website or technology as a structured representation of a group of ideas. Many "wrappers" may simply combine more ideas than the underlying technology. A castle with a literal moat is more valuable than rain on a pile of stones.
@shaoruu@cursor_ai I find I ask composer for a change, it has a bug, I continue down that chain asking to fix the bug a few times, then revert to my original and edit my first ask + “avoid these bugs”…boom, it works. This shoud be a feature: “revert and re-run with previous attempt-wisdom.”
@512x512 Affordable API that follows behavioral instructions. GPT-4o does not follow instructions (i.e. system messages) well. For example, it cannot serve as an effective tutor, even though GPT-4 can. But GPT-4 is prohibitively expensive.
@VivekGRamaswamy I have a suggestion to help, if you stack the bills rather then putting them end to end, then the bills barely make up to space once. I hope that helps!
