Unable to change boarding point of my ticket for tomorrow, tried different methods - app, website everything is failing with server error. Why is this so? Isn't there any other option available?

Prime example of the disconnect people in power have with reality.

In 2026 what's the use of adding Bangalore in 50% HRA exemption list when most of the people are forced to move to new tax regime.

In new regime you can't take benefit of HRA and old regime is so heavily taxed that it doesn't make sense to stay there.

If you really care for people, ask Finance minister to add HRA exemption in new tax regime otherwise it's of no use for general salaried class.

First they reduced Import duty by 9% causing investors to lose 9% on SGB

Now they're telling that SGB bought in secondary market will be taxed at maturity, that means investors losing 12.5% again.

Retrospective tax implications is pure evil, you're buying and holding something for years thinking it to be tax free but just before maturity Govt will make a change and ask you to pay tax.

Next what? Wait for your life insurance maturity, PF, NPS money for 25-30 years thinking it to be tax free but suddenly one day Govt wake up and ask you to pay tax.

@IRCTCofficial It is a ridiculous rule if there is one like that, first of all I didn't cancel the ticket. It was auto cancelled once the train departed. The charges make sense only if I initiated the cancellation.

@Akshat_World EPFO hasn't paid interests on PF accounts for FY 23-24, which was due on March '24. The funny thing is they can get away with this without paying anything extra whereas an ordinary tax payer will be penalised with interest if taxpay is delayed.

@SamsungIndia My 9 month Samsung S20FE is being denied warranty for touch and screen issue, citing a small dot on the frame. How ridiculous is this ? The phone is as good as new, and there are no scratches on the screen or any major damage.

@SamsungIndia The touch functionality had stopped abruptly and a line on screen also appeared later when I took the phone to service center. There was no physical damage or whatsoever. Warranty is being denied citing silly reasons as minor dot on the frame.

We had raised a query through mail and there was no response for this either. It is hard to believe this is a coincidence.

Further, when we tried to return, the item is listed as "can't be returned/cancelled /exchanged", but this never came up while placing the order. Is this your new way of selling off damaged products?
