@mattbarrows Hey Matt - in a recent article you mentioned the Niners envision Alfred Collins as a 3-technique, but his immense size and lack of explosive physical traits (26” vert, 8’ broad jump) don’t scream penetrating defensive tackle. Wouldn’t he be better at 0-technique/nose tackle?

@mattbarrows Hi Matt - are we seeing a shift in philosophy at safety? Last year our top 3 safeties (Huff, Mustafa, Brown) were all more strong or “box” safeties. Seems like safety has been a surprising priority in FA this year, so wondering if they are looking for a true “free” safety?
