@akhenosiris@chat_SBC@JerryCap Hear you on the disintermediation argument. But wouldn’t be surprised if the vendors argue that reduced friction from agent-assisted demand is more important for bookings and revenue conversion than owning the UI for the end user. And that might prove to be true.
@chat_SBC Still unconvinced TEAM should/needs to own this. Perhaps the browser needs to be fundamentally rebuilt in an agent-led world, but even if true this feels more like a founder-led directional bet on a modality that brings no meaningful product or topline synergy for the company
@shomikghosh21@buccocapital If defining AI native as built in a post-LLM world, then agreed. Would still call what MW does AI, but its mostly deterministic / probabilistic techniques w/ LLMs bolted on. Dirty secret in the internal facing service domain is that simple logic still works well for most tickets
@shomikghosh21@buccocapital Moveworks is AI - internal facing IT/HR agents. But clear sign of weakness in NOWs AI capabilities. They should have dominated this agent domain organically given NOW is where all the IT ticket asset mapping data resides and is also where these workflows are defined.
@P_Remarks Could see a holiday season driven usage spike for these given novelty / wow factor that fades in early 26 as consumers don’t find sticky use cases
@pinjalim cRPO sequential accel, only passed through 2% of the beat to full year rev, and could see this clocking in at 5% op margin for the year with room to expand next year. This profile could go from rule of high teens to rule of high 20s quickly
@dalibali2 Will there be an increased desire in Chinese companies to centralize data and automate workflows, and willingness to depend on ISVs for that? Trust always been an underlying issue.
@SouthernValue95 Vibe coders not displacing anything that integrates with 10+ govt systems anytime soon. Don’t think you’ll see much rip and replace. Threat is to net new.
@jasonlk Incredible. Seems inevitable that one of the AI IDE vendors would try to position themselves as the “safe, resilient, production grade” option. Trading off some of the agency the tool has in order to be more conservative.
@viggy_krishnan yeah, foundation model sentiment just changes so fast. Google was behind and now they're in the mix towards the top. Anthropic had the failed training run, but now is best in class in coding and elsewhere. still plenty of time for Llama to regain its footing competitively
@viggy_krishnan - If META can’t get a $1B SMB CEC acq. thru the DOJ, not worth spending time on material control deals, esp one in AI. With fewer ABs, might as well swing big
-Trusting the best founder/CEO of his generation has been a good bet, even when the vision is not immediately clear
@viggy_krishnan -if this is an attractive neighborhood (or at the very least strategic), Scale becomes a scarce asset as the leader. Automation products are trained on the most data and best in class today. Also increases footprint and influence w/ Federal Govt which clearly is a goal of Zuck's
@lefttailguy@JaredSleeper@dalibali2 Does seem like this time may be different w/ agents in areas like cust. service, TOFU sales, etc. Base case assumption for devs is productivity improver but not replacement, at least in the near term.
@dalibali2@JaredSleeper Think pricing and packaging will depend on the market and HC takeout oppty. If AI is just a productivity improvement lever, including as feature makes sense. When there is big saving potential replacing HC w/ AI (i.e. service), vendor should be able to capture some of the savings
