A Vietnamese Army Delegation led by Lt Gen Do Minh Xuong, Commandant, Vietnam Army Academy, visited Army War College, Mhow on 18 Aug 2026. The delegation interacted with the Commandant and Faculty of the Junior, Senior & Higher Command Wings, and the Faculty of Studies & Leadership gaining valuable insights into Empowering of Military Leaders through Professional Military Education.

The engagement reinforces mutual respect, strengthens India–Vietnam defence ties and opens new avenues for enhanced military cooperation, exchange of expertise and institutional linkages.

Eight weeks and over 400 hours of Intense Study & Engaging Interactions culminated with the successful completion of the Information Warfare Course at #AWC.
Bringing together Indian & International Military Officers, along with Defence Journalists for a comprehensive engagement, the curriculum focused on key aspects like Cognitive Operations, Cyber Warfare, and Strategic Communication.

Through Rigorous Research, Media Analysis, AI enbled Tools and Structured Discussions, the Participants Analysed & Evaluated the growing Centrality of Narratives in Contemporary Conflict Scenarios.

Interacted with 49 Colonel-ranked officers of Higher Command Course-55, today at Leh, on their visit to Ladakh, which presents a living example of civil-military synergy, where Administration and Army stand shoulder-to-shoulder in nation-building.

Shared Ladakh's transformation since becoming a Union Territory, under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji, in terms of road infrastructure boost, ensuring year-round connectivity, developments in power, renewable energy, drinking water, health, education and telecom sectors and the resultant massive tourism surge in Ladakh.

Exhorted the officers to come together to strengthen border infrastructure, improve lives in remote areas and advance inclusive development as we march towards “Viksit Bharat 2047”.

Proud that Ladakh leads with 6% reservation for Ex-Servicemen, 20% for Agniveers and induction of veterans into Environment Protection Force. I am confident that this spirit of civil-military cooperation will remain the cornerstone of Ladakh’s progress, security and prosperity.
