I've watched @deepak_me90's journey from the sidelines for many years now. His dedication to his craft and the pursuit of excellence is nothing short of inspiring. Huge milestone; and definitely a great lab to join!

Thrilled to share that I’ll be starting as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley in January 2027!

I’ll be launching the Deep Lab for Microbial Biomechanics. 🧵 1/7

@AskRobinhood Very poor user experience — I’m locked out of my account because I changed devices and no longer have access to 2FA codes. Trying to get help on the app expects me to enter a 2FA code 🙄

[StarTree @startreedata]

Here is an excellent example of doing a migration from a legacy system of record to a real-time query path with @ApachePinot using the strangler pattern.

@LivingSpaces Really terrible experience having a couch delivered!
1. Delivery personnel refused to deliver it to the third floor (even though I had indoor delivery selected)
2. Spoken to 3 separate support agents and they now tell me I need to opt for outdoor delivery?!

[Lakshmi Rao @glaksh100]

@copyconstruct At the US embassies in India, they still required an appointment for interview waivers. Hopefully they also increase the number of appointments as a part of this.

[Lakshmi Rao @glaksh100]

@USAndIndia There seems to be no easy way to secure non-immigrant visa appointments. Are there plans to increase number of slots? Or at least establish more specific weekly timings for when slots become available?

@uscensusbureau I responded to the census last year and now moved to a new apartment. I keep getting mail (at the new address) about not filling out the census. I’m guessing it’s meant for the older residents of my apartment. What do I do?
