The Bible gently but firmly reminds us not to look back. Not to old seasons, old people, or old versions of ourselves that God already redeemed. Lot’s wife looked back and became stuck. My prayer is that whenever you feel tempted to return to what’s familiar, God reminds you of what’s waiting ahead. Greater, healthier, and full of purpose.
God is saying to you today: I have heard your cries; I can feel your pain. I know you may not understand all that I allow, but I am always in control. I alone have all power. Out of your disappointments and heartache, I will bring great joy. You must hold on during these difficult times. Place your faith and trust in Me, be still and know that I am God. Everything is going to be alright.
after repentance, God forgets your sin. He erases it from His own memory.
The only one who keeps a record of your wrongs is Satan.
so that voice that keeps reminding you of your shortcomings isn’t from the Holy Spirit, but from the enemy.
don’t listen, you’re free.
Have you ever prayed… and it looked like things got worse?
That’s what happened in
Exodus 5.
Moses obeyed God, spoke to Pharaoh—yet Pharaoh, got more wicked.
He said, “No more straw, but make the same number of bricks!”
That’s how the enemy behaves
when you start praying seriously, when you start obeying God, pressure increases.
Pharaoh increased the workload because Egypt felt Israel slipping away.
Don’t stop praying.
Don’t give up now.
Pray harder.
Stand stronger.
Because your breakthrough… is right around the corner.
God is saying to you today: You’re going to be okay. Control what you can and give the rest to God. Don’t miss today by worrying about yesterday or tomorrow. You may not understand why you’re in a certain position or why something isn’t working out in your favor that’s protection. Everything happens for a reason! Keep your eyes on God, and He won’t take His hands off you.
“You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” – John 13:7 🤍
Job didn’t get his old life back; he got a new one. God didn’t restore what he lost God rewrote the ending and gave him more than he had before.
Some pain won’t be explained, but it will be redeemed.
If you pay attention to the patterns of your life, you’ll realize that everything always works out. You survived what once felt impossible, not by accident, but by design. There’s a divine rhythm behind the chaos, a wisdom guiding the unfolding. So breathe. Trust where you are.
Adulting advice???? Always make time to travel, even if it’s not an expensive trip. Take time to unwind. Give yourself the chance to breathe. It’s crucial for your mental health. Visit the beach and don’t feel guilty for spending your hard earned money. You deserve to enjoy life.
every time you say “this is new for me” instead of “i’m bad at this,” you allow your brain space to learn instead of shut down. that’s neuroplasticity in real time.
