@patrickbetdavid Comm on. This is a snapshot across a wide 20-year age span. By 35-39, it drops to about 23% childless. Women who do have their first child have a median age of 27.
@Manhattva As a billionaire, they have money; they don't care if they lose another 10%-20% to taxes, so long as they get the votes needed to get "their friends" in government to give them what they really want... power.
@conservmillen What happens when, in your research, you read something that, unbeknownst to you, was produced by AI? Or is it more of wanting to keep your information as "sanitized" from AI as much as possible so that you do not become lazy or influenced by some AI algorithm? Just curious.
Maybe it feels this way because the social fabric has diffused and diluted into individual echo chambers where the algorithm gives you something different from what your community is used to seeing, hearing, and listening to. I don't consume the same media that my neighbors do anymore. It is rare that we talk about having watched the same TV show the day before. Therefore, how can a decade be "identified or defined by its own style" when there is no cohesion? There are exceptions, like sports. But I am baffled by why fashion hasn't changed much - I blame Amazon for that.
@IdleAn94328@KUTV2News Started with No Child Left Behind. Basically, increased Federal and State Madates like requiring IEPs entrenched a whole class of educators to not teach but oversee metrics that were not entirely education-related.
@farzyness@elonmusk Tax the hours of "labor production" from AI and robotic. It incentivizes government to encourage more robotics and AI, and taxing the hour rate will incentivize operators to become more efficient, resulting in higher productivity.
The Master Plan for X: Turn the entire planet into one open virtual town square.
Weโre in Step One right now. Real-time auto-translation so regular people can finally talk without language walls. 2) X Money so you can buy, sell, and trade right in the square. 3) Starlink and partners connecting the remotest places so everyone gets a seat. 3) Grok pairing diverse thinkers from around the world to break out of echo chambers.
One platform. No walls. Just connected.
After seeing so many posts from people who speak different languages around the world makes me want to travel the world to meet you all. Where should i go first? I love mountains.
