@ibdgirl76 When I had first hip replacement I was on 16mg and was given Dilaudid 4mg to assist with the pain but that was before the bullsh war on us. Now no opioids
@ibdgirl76 Yes never lie to a patient ought to be a given. I might have been on the bupe too long because this last hip replacement caused a lot of pain and bupe didn't have much effect. Now I have to slow down and might get off so it'll work again. I was off for a year and went back and
@CMerandi@PainSteals This is so dangerous. I weaned off very slowly and still was extremely ill for almost a whole year. DEA and Drs ought to be ashamed. Keep up the good fight.
@LauraLoomer Pope is calling out war that's his job. Trump is a sad little man who is going to be judged harshly followed by the likes of his brown nose followers
@CMerandi I know however it worked for five surgeries but didn't for the hip replacement and I suffered. Before I get the knee done, I'm cutting way down maybe off then restarting. I've stopped for a year once and can do it again. Key is to take months to very slowly withdraw down to dust
@CMerandi@RepMSDawson Best wishes. I just had hip replacement and since I've been on buprenorphine, it was my main pain control however at max dose I sadly must state that it's lost much of it's power. Yeah better than nothing but I suffered a lot. Day 7 it's a little better. I hope you win
@PainSteals@Garnet_2203 The more right wing we become, the less freedom we have. Ironic coming from the party that lives to spout the word freedom. No freedom for women to choose no freedom over what we ingest but freedom of guns and booze and smokes the unholy Trinity that kills many more
@PainSteals Wow of course supply and demand. Prohibition failed is failing now and always will fail. Bathtub gin killed now Russian R. With fentanyl. Clap, clap clap! Good work you holy rollers
@JGillespie67@ibdgirl76 You seem to know what I know about my body and my pain. Almost 40 years sober and your opinion cannot take that away. In fact as an educated person you ought to be ashamed of your judgement. Walk a mile...
@Katamac1967@ibdgirl76 I understand why while of course in disagreement. The reason is obvious and it's opioid hysteria so I agree but would rather have a medication that relives some pain while keeping WD at bay. I hope that explains it. Having hip replacement soon and will use bupe for pain as did
@JGillespie67@ibdgirl76 Lol ๐คฃ Yeah I choose to live twenty years in hell because I choose it.
Sober near 40 years I still remember how hard it was to get off the booze. Alcohol allowed me to feel as though I fit in and that alone was bliss however I had no "off" switch. You are misinformed
@ibdgirl76 2007 to 2008 Columbia Presbyterian DR Sullivan was the main clinician pain patient and Suboxone in patient study where I was switched to Suboxone. My pain Dr switched me to just bupe I saw other studies as well so dig a little bit deeper
