I got as close as I dared to this #stag without either of us freaking out. He wasn't the #alphamale, who was much bigger and did chase him a few times, and I didn't get to witness any head or #antler butting either, but they are still a joy to watch in my favourite forest park.

I really love this time of year. Especially when it's not raining!!
Now the #trees give us a real treat and the low #sun lights the #forest paths and gives us wonderful #goldenhues 😊

When this huge big #buck wasn't chasing off the other #males, he was standing in the middle of the #herd barking. Its wonderful to walk through the #deer park, although I wouldn't advise wearing a cream coat right now...You could get a nasty send off 😂😂

#Therut is now in full force in my local #forestpark and this stunning #whitestag was showing the young bucks who was boss on Monday when I popped over to see them.
I loved the way you can see the water being kicked up around him as he rushed to send the other #stag packing.

One of the magnificent #redkites at the feeding station at #Llanddeusant. The red kites seem to be thriving in the #Welshhills and I spotted them in various locations, but this was definitely the best place to get a really decent shot.

I loved how this little guy tried to copy the older #stags by rubbing his tiny little #antlers in the scrub to make them look bigger.

Throwback to #Thanksgiving 4 years ago when Mum and I flew over to #Canada to visit family.
Nowhere does those wonderful #fallcolours like #NorthAmerica. And I'm posting this one because I haven't had much chance to go out looking for them in Northern Ireland yet 😂

I love #blueflowers. And a whole garden of just blue #flowers would be fantastic. I, however can only grow weeds, so I'll stick to visiting other people's gardens!

It's hard to pick a favourite #destination, but I love reminders of my time in #SouthAfrica.

Our tour included a boat trip over to #FeatherbedNatureReserve, #Knysna.
The view from the #topofthemountain was amazing, thankfully we had a tractor ride up to the top!!

I was thrilled to pieces to get to the #RedKiteFeedingStation in #Llanddeusant, #Wales when we were on holidays during the Summer.

I #blindedmyself taking this shot... The #sun was in my eyes, but the #sparkles ✨ on the #water were worth it!
We were on our way back from Newcastle and stopped off at #CorbetLough (outside Banbridge) just to see the #ducks and #swans.

I actually got this lovely #paintedlady #butterfly in the #gardens outside the butterfly house at #Seaforde, #CountyDown.
And on wet days like today when the rain is pelting off my windows, it's nice to look back through some of my #brighter photos 😂

I stopped at #PeatlandsPark to get some nice #autumncolours, but even though #thesunappeared, I was freezing when it hid behind the clouds, so I stuck with a #singleshot of this #male #mallard #duck and went on home 😂
