@Devil_Dare99 Devils lost on the last day of the season away to Blaze to gift Giants the league one year, would have been no mention of budgets etc if they had won. Devils good cup team as shown in playoffs record but lack consistency in league play, is that down to money /coaching/ attitude?

@Devil_Dare99 Unfortunately there will be always be teams that have more than other teams, Fife/Stars etc would love Devils budget and so on. When Todd and the ownership group took on the Devils they know the issues they would come up against. Also money doesn't guarantee success.

@HanClanSolo77 Depends on the 3rd choice goalie, if Whistle plays with Brit back up we can ice full import quota, no mention of Dickson so perhaps an up and coming young Brit has been tempted. Looking strong in forward lines and offensive from D in Mike lee, Josh Roach etc

@steelermark @steelthepuck It's an out of the blue signing granted but in Keefe we trust, Shudra probably jumped at the chance to join the back to back league champions and probably took a pay cut rather than dropping a level. Will be interesting to see how he goes throughout the season.

@steelermark Copying the Belfast method but why did it take him so long to figure it out? Or was it that the Brit back ups where no good and you couldn't put them in a game with serious points on the line

@GBHockeyFuture Belfast have had an import quality Brit in Whistle so level didn't drop between the pipes and it allowed an extra import outskater to strengthen the team elsewhere, maybe Fox has taken note and see this a way to try and close the gap. Brine isn't Whistle level though.

@SteelerJb He won't, Clan dropped him and brought in an import to cover when Attikalo went down, if Greenfield gets hurt then cover would be brought in, Could you risk him and Warburton as your 2 goalies to ice an extra import and risk the 2 points in a meaningful cup or league game?

@scuff7 @Simmsey19 Yes and that Simmsy has publicy praised Joey in the past, my point is still relevant in that he or his team has underperformed and haven't won the league in a very long time.

@scuff7 Every team wants a slice of the pie, how much do they value the brand at? In a TV deal does all 10 team get an equal share as tv company will want to show the big games so does that team get more money per game to cover loss of revenue if fans chose to stay at home?
