@Murphys2ndLaw@AngelaLark66613@BarackObama Yes. The left often talks about Trump stiffing the workers and here is a mirror reflecting back at one of their own doing the same.
@VoelkerSuha@AngelaLark66613@BarackObama She sure acts that way outside of the gushing she did for the dedication. I was stunned that she heaped affection on him in that moment that was so lacking in many of her podcasts and other public appearances. To the point I felt sorry for the guy every so often in the past.
@JerichoXVI@BarackObama Dream on. Any big time politician and any former president will never see time. The only exception will be the Dems will try to imprison Trump for made up stuff - even after he leaves office.
@BarackObama Hope is not blind optimism? This hope he was selling was all blind optimism. Not a specific thing. Not a plan. Vague, sounded patriotic but was not. I voted for him twice. I marveled at the first African American president. I worked on his campaign. It was a mistake.
@Boundshorses@timony001 If we don’t like or trust a president, their term will be up and out. Or they get voted out of office. Congress can stay forever, so where are their constraints?
@ScarlettPennin7@timony001 If we can eliminate the income tax and all of the wasted time preparing forms because of tariffs taking the revenue place….I am all for tariffs for that reason alone. Although if the deficit gets paid off too, that is a bonus.
@timony001 Trump uses tariffs as leverage to get something or something else. It is a bargaining chip. Future presidents could do the same. Why does Congress seek to constrain when they don’t constrain themselves?
@TrumpsHurricane Why deliberately lose half of your audience? It would be like a gay singer saying that if you are not gay, don't listen to my music. It is virtue signaling at its finest, but it doesn't mean a damn thing. When sales dry up, or someone pays them a lot of money, they will turn.
@ZacksJerryRig@LauraLoomer Even if inflation went to zero, the price increases remain for the most part. This is why inflation is so devastating, because the only way that all base prices across the board go down in the present or the future is due to deflation or if no one is buying anything at all.
