@tylerrjoseph “you guys aren’t gna like this one on the first listen” oh yeah? Well watch THIS *forgets everything about it immediately bc I have a terrible memory, with full intentions of listening obsessively later bc it was a vibe*
May you money-hungry execs lose tons of customers and investors. I truly hope these decisions are reversed, because I really used to believe in Duolingo. But humans should come first, especially in languages. GenA//I is a scourge on this planet and on humanity itself. Do better.
@duolingo in light of your anti-human decision to invest in g*nerative A//I, my family is canceling their Super Duolingo subscription. And, personally out of spite, I’m seeking actual human professionals to continue my language education. Extremely disappointed in y’all.
Tbh Duo has been going noticeably downhill for years, starting with the switch to the “path” format, and lately only half of every “section” has been actual lessons. There’s only so much dissatisfaction customers can tolerate, and I hope that threshold becomes clear with genA//I.
If I had a nickel for every time one of my family members lost a very important card in the living room couch cushions and I ended up finding it after they’d given up hope, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice
Got genuinely emotionally moved listening to Good Luck, Babe for the 500th time this morning. Damn you'd literally have to stop the world just to stop the feeling. That's crazy
Nothing beats jumpscaring yourself when you’re doing something in the mirror with one eye closed, then accidentally open that eye and it’s rolled All the way off to the side
