Mamdani was criticized for not wearing a helmet when riding a bike in NYC. Mamdani listened and told those criticizing him that they were right and he needs to do better. He bought a new helmet and posted “I’m listening and learning”. People were so impressed to be told that they were right and that a politician would publicly admit they were right. One guy said “First in my bloodline to hear a politician say ‘you’re right, I’ve got to do better,’” one commenter wrote. “I honestly feel like witnessing a politician simply say ‘you’re right, I’ve gotta do better’ just healed something within me. It’s so easy to do and yet SO FEW PEOPLE (not just politicians) have the humility to do it,” said another.

Mamdani continues to impress with his willingness to make the people a priority.

Gen Musharraf was sent to Sri Lanka in Oct 1999 after elevating him to post of chairman joint chief of staff with same assurance. “No worries sir. Everything is sorted out”
PM Junejo went on official tour abroad in 1988 after similar assurance by Gen Zia.
Gen Zia had given same assurances to Mr Bhutto in 1977.
PM Benazir Bhutto was strongly assured by President Leghari in 1996. “BB I am Baloch. I am your brother. I wont do anything unconstitutional” .
Assurances always follow Mafia type surprise which is key in a power game. Assurances are used as deceptions in a game of thrones.

Pakistan has issued one of its strongest statements since the Iran-US conflict began, warning that any hostile act against Pakistani-flagged vessels or Pakistan's maritime interests will be treated as a grave threat to its national security.

Islamabad said it reserves the right to take "all necessary measures, including lawful use of force" in self-defence, while condemning Houthi threats against Saudi Arabia and commercial shipping in the Red Sea. It also reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Kingdom's security and sovereignty.
