Im pretty OK with VAR largely, but today's Liverpool penalty just isn't one. It never is. Never reward a player for taking a bad shot....especially if you arent going to reward a player for getting kicked in the chest..in the box.

Arne Slot had credit in the bank at the start of this torrid run (well over half a year ago btw) and rightly so after last season. But that has gone bust now. He has shown absolutely nothing in that period to show he is the man to lead this team forward.

By all means let him lead Liverpool out for their final game of the season, but that performance vs Villa was typically shambolic.

A transfer window will not fix this.

@LFC I'm afraid these continuing excuses haven't just worn thin, they've worn down supporters to the point where it is now toxic. A fanbase that's gone from believers under Klopp to doubters under Slot. It's a dereliction of duty by those at the top to allow this to continue.

VAR is a circus, plain and simple. Games are now being refereed by people not at the game itself. Countless wrong decisions, then numerous hollow apologies in the aftermath of yet more farcical calls have become weekly occurrences. It isn't fit for purpose.

Sorry but I just can't see how Liverpool's hierarchy sit down at the end of the season and make a case to keep Slot.
So many failings - defensively and offensively - yet he cannot find solutions to either.
Nineteen losses in all competitions simply cannot be viewed as acceptable.
