📌BREAKING: In the Kouri Richins case, the court has GRANTED the motion to appoint independent counsel for her mother, Lisa Darden.

A judge doesn’t do that lightly.

This means the court sees a potential conflict or serious legal exposure for a key witness, enough to ensure her rights are protected with separate representation.

Translation: things just got a lot more serious behind the scenes.

The “walk the dog” letter and today’s court move aren’t the same thing but don’t ignore the overlap.

If she’s tied to ANY part of the timeline, including that letter, that’s not nothing.

This case isn’t getting simpler… it’s getting deeper. 👀⚖️

The sentencing for aggravated murder depends on whether prosecutors seek the death penalty:

• The death penalty (by lethal injection in Utah), or
