The idea of a remake of a game making EVERY character lighter in skin tone, to me, indicates it’s a result of colorism (lighter=improved)

@aigisvonkarma Not only that, but the way they draw hair has changed to make it stringier and thinner than before, which effectively removes the shape language some characters had in their hair - ESPECIALLY Akane. And to top it all off, they made her skin incredibly ashy. Really disappointed

@aigisvonkarma I understand the main artist has changed their artstyle over the years, but it's very disappointing to see them return to past characters and change them for the worse. All their art now has a cool undertone which makes some characters with warm color schemes look really bad
