I expect each of you to lead by example and work tirelessly to deliver victory for His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, Right Honourable Rotimi Amaechi, and every duly nominated ADC candidate in your respective polling units and across the country.

Where credible evidence indicates criminal conduct, the matter should be referred to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
To every aggrieved aspirant across the thirty-six states, your concerns will be heard. Gather your petitions, official delegate tallies, video evidence, and written records. Submit them directly to the Office of the National Youth Leader. The National Youth Wing will compile every verified complaint and ensure that it is presented to the appropriate organs of the party. Every genuine grievance deserves a fair hearing, and every member deserves confidence that justice will be pursued through the proper channels.
Our loyalty to the African Democratic Congress remains firm because our loyalty is rooted in its ideals. We stand solidly behind our presidential ticket of His Excellency Atiku Abubakar and Right Honorable Rotimi Amaechi, as well as all our validly nominated candidates nationwide. We believe this party is strongest when it is transparent, accountable, and faithful to its own rules. We owe every aspirant a fair process, every member an honest organization, and every Nigerian the confidence that we are prepared to hold ourselves to the same standards we expect of others. No political party can ask Nigerians to trust its commitment to democracy if it is unwilling to defend democracy within its own house. It is high time that if the current leadership of the party cannot bring the perpetrators of these gross injustices to book, then they must resign and make way for those ready to restore integrity to our party.
May Almighty God give us the wisdom to pursue justice with fairness and integrity. May He comfort those who have suffered injustice and grant our party leadership the courage to enforce transparency without fear or favor. To ensure these issues are exhaustively pursued, the ADC Youth Wing Legal Advisers, chaired by Barr. I.U. Wali and Barr. Juliet Laba, will work directly with aggrieved aspirants until all their issues are justifiably resolved. We pray for God's guidance upon our presidential team, all valid candidates, and the entire nation. Amen.
Signed

FULL TEXT OF THE NATIONAL PRESS CONFERENCE BY THE OFFICE OF THE ADC NATIONAL YOUTH LEADER, 29th July, 2026
ADC Youth Wing Calls for Independent Investigation into Alleged Primary Election Irregularities Across the Federation Following Complaints from 23 States
Hello members of the press, respected party leaders, courageous aspirants, and the resilient youth of Nigeria.
Only a few Months ago, thousands of party members across our wards, local governments, and states celebrated what many believed would mark another important chapter in the democratic journey of our great party. Aspirants invested their personal resources, supporters travelled long distances, volunteers gave countless hours, and young Nigerians stood shoulder to shoulder with hope that every legitimate vote and every genuine mandate would be respected. For many, the primary election was more than a contest for party tickets. It was a test of our commitment to fairness, transparency, and internal democracy. Today, that hope has been overshadowed by deep concern. The National Youth Wing of the African Democratic Congress can no longer remain silent in the face of serious allegations that strike at the very foundation of the values we have asked Nigerians to believe in. We had every reason to expect that our internal processes would reflect the principles we preach. Instead, credible complaints have emerged suggesting that, in some instances, those principles may have been compromised. If these allegations are true, then those affected deserve justice, our members deserve answers, and our party deserves the courage to confront the truth.
We have received petitions supported by documentary evidence alleging that some party officials accepted improper financial inducements to alter candidate nominations across over twenty-three states. It is on record that formal petitions were already submitted directly to the Legal Department by the party-constituted Appeal Committee as well as aggrieved party aspirants, yet regrettably, nothing was done to address these clear breaches. If these allegations are established through an independent investigation, they would represent a grave violation of our party's constitution, democratic principles, and the trust of our members. We now hold official records, petitions, and correspondence submitted by affected members for review.
Behind every petition is a person who invested hope, time, resources, and the confidence of their supporters in this process. Today, some have resigned from the party they helped to build. Others have turned to the courts because they believe they have nowhere else to seek redress. Many remain within our ranks, waiting patiently for their concerns to be heard. Their disappointment should concern every leader who believes in justice and fairness. Every unresolved complaint weakens confidence in our internal processes and places unnecessary strain on the unity we need ahead of the general election. This uncertainty threatens our standing as the largest opposition force on the continent. The Youth Wing will not stand by while the collective effort of millions of loyal members is undermined.
As the voice of the largest demographic within our party, we have a responsibility to speak when the confidence of our members is at stake. This is not about protecting individuals or settling political scores. It is about protecting the integrity of our party. Every honest official should welcome an independent review because transparency strengthens institutions, while silence only fuels suspicion. We call for immediate, transparent, and decisive action. The National Working Committee must establish an independent review process to examine every complaint promptly and fairly. Any official found, after a fair and independent investigation, to have manipulated the nomination process or accepted improper inducements must face the full disciplinary measures provided under the party's constitution.
ADC Youth Wing Congratulates @aamalamiSAN, SAN, on Landmark Federal High Court Victory
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Youth Wing heartily congratulates Abubakar Malami on his decisive legal victory at the Federal High Court, Abuja, which dismissed the suit challenging his emergence as the party's Governorship candidate of Kebbi State.
This landmark judgment is a victory for justice, due process, and internal party democracy. It further strengthens confidence in the credibility of the ADC and reaffirms the rule of law.
The ADC Youth Wing pledges its unwavering support and renewed commitment to mobilizing young Nigerians behind the party's vision. We look forward to deepening our collaboration with Malami, not only in Kebbi State but across the federation, as we work together to build a stronger, united, and victorious ADC.
We congratulate Malami once again and wish him greater success in the journey ahead.

Today, My office had the Honour of receiving dedicated young Nigerians from different parts of our country, including the Gombe State Youth Synergy for Development Forum, Hon. Bashir Omokayode Yusuf (Maigaskiya) from Kwara State, Some Party Faithfuls and leaders of the ADC Movement for a New Nigeria. As we sat together, it became clear that our diversity is our greatest strength. Though we come from different states, backgrounds, and experiences, we are united by one purpose: building a stronger ADC and giving Nigerians renewed hope for a better future. The energy, ideas, and commitment shared today reaffirmed that the youth remain the driving force of every successful political movement.
I sincerely appreciate their visit, their encouragement, and their commitment to our great party and our country. Our Doors will remain open to every patriotic young Nigerian who is ready to serve with sincerity and purpose. We will continue to work together, strengthen our structures, mobilize across communities, and build a united youth movement capable of delivering the Atiku Amaechi ticket to victory in the 2027 general election. History is shaped by those who organize, sacrifice, and stand together for a cause greater than themselves, and I am confident that, united under the banner of the ADC, we will rise to that responsibility.

Today, my office was filled with productive engagements as we received party stakeholders, aspirants, youth leaders, and representatives of various support groups from across the country. Beyond the conversations, what stood out was our shared belief that the future of the ADC will be built through unity, trust, and collective effort, not by individuals acting alone.
I deeply appreciate every leader and supporter who found time to visit, exchange ideas, and reaffirm their commitment to our great party. Your counsel, encouragement, and constructive contributions are invaluable. On behalf of the National Youth Wing of the Party, I remain committed to maintaining an open door, listening to every genuine voice, and working with every stakeholder willing to move our party forward. A political movement grows when its people grow together, and I am confident that, united in purpose, we will continue to build an ADC that inspires hope, earns public trust, and offers Nigerians the leadership they deserve.

Today, I paid a condolence visit to the family of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi @ChibuikeAmaechi alongside members of the Muhaska Youth Movement, the Kaduna State ADC Youth Wing, the El-Rufai Boys movement, Hon. Abdullahi, the ADC Niger State Zone B Senatorial Candidate, and other party leaders, to share in their grief over the passing of his beloved mother, Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi. We were received by Her Excellency, Mrs. Judith Amaechi, whose strength and calmness, even in a moment of deep sorrow, spoke volumes about the values their late mother upheld throughout her life.
As we sat together, it became clear that behind every public leader is a family carrying its own joys and pains. We offered our prayers, shared words of comfort, and reflected on a life that touched many through faith, kindness, and sacrifice. The pain of losing a mother is one that words can never fully ease, but the love she gave remains a lasting gift.
On behalf of the National Youth Wing of the African Democratic Congress, I once again extend our heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the entire Amaechi family, and all who mourn her passing. May Almighty God grant Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi eternal rest and give the family the strength to carry her legacy forward.

I'll always believe that politics is local.
Today, alongside the Kano State Chairman of the ADC, Hon. Musa Shuaibu Ungoggo, I had the privilege of meeting with leaders from the 15 Local Government Areas of Kano Central, alongside representatives from neighboring local governments. We held honest conversations about the future of our great party, the ADC, the road ahead for our candidature, and what it will take to deliver Kano for the ADC.
The resolve in the room was clear. Strengthen the wards. Empower local leaders. Reach every household. Build a united party that puts the people first. That is how victories are earned, and that is how Kano can be delivered for the ADC. Our work continues, one community at a time, because politics is local, and every great movement begins from the grassroots.

Atiku’s humility and deep grasp of Nigeria’s economic realities set him apart as a leader who truly listens. With decades of bridging divides through calm dialogue and practical solutions, he continues to earn trust across every region. A unifier Nigerians can count on.
Let us not forget that under the APC, NECO registration rose to about ₦50,000, a bag of cement to about ₦12,000, petrol to about ₦1,300 per litre, and a bag of fertilizer to about ₦47,000, while many communities still struggle with poor electricity, lack of clean water, and worsening insecurity. These are the realities Nigerians should remember when judging leadership and making future political choices.
The Office of the National Youth Leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) extends its heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, @ChibuikeAmaechi, on the passing of his beloved mother, Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi, at the age of 84.
We pray that Almighty God grants her eternal rest and gives Your Excellency, the Amaechi family, and all loved ones the strength and grace to bear this irreplaceable loss.
May her remarkable legacy of faith, courage, and selfless service continue to inspire generations.
Please accept our deepest sympathies during this difficult time.
