So.. let’s forget the challenging happenings around us for a moment & celebrate the talented @adamlambert who just posted this photo on his IG story. We’ve always known he’s a “gift from God” (per @QueenWillRock) w/a voice from the angels. Here it is, proof positive #adamlambert
I’ve been thinking a lot about the extraordinary outbursts of the President of the United States against female journalists... well, actually against journalists in general and journalism. But it feels like he saves his most childlike behavior and irrational language for female reporters, calling them all kinds of names that kids in kindergarten are given times out for. It’s stunning to me to witness such behavior from any leader, any CEO, any person of influence or importance. I’ve never witnessed someone like this raging, this weekend with @meetthepress host @kwelkernbc, just last week in the Oval Office with @cnn’s @kaitlancollins, calling women stupid or piggy, telling them to “smile”, calling them darling, demeaning their credibility. Every good man should denounce this behavior. Every person should be able to stand up for their colleagues and say “No more.”
Imagine this man screaming like this at your daughter, your wife, your sister, your mother... would you stand for it? No, you wouldn’t! And neither should any of us. It’s unacceptable and undignified. Period. End of story.
@DrNeilStone I went on one in Hawaii. Short one out from Kona. Dinner cruise. That’s it. But grew up on an island ( San Juan Islands in Washington state) so short “ cruises” were a way of life 😊. On one as we speak .. Always beautiful..
Trump’s FCC chair, Brendan Carr, says he plans to punish and potentially revoke broadcast licenses for TV networks critical of the Trump administration:
“I’d be surprised if we don’t go down the path of license revocation for some. It will be up to them and their conduct.”
This is fascism. This is what they do in authoritarian countries.
This is cancel culture on steroids.
Where’s the outrage?
LANDSMAN: You pushed a massive spending bill, most of it going to tax cuts for the super wealthy, you've cut healthcare by nearly $1 trillion, and now you're gonna cut the EPA by 50%. Would you have supported this as a member of Congress?
ZELDIN: I hear from Americans across the country happy to get more back in their tax return
LANDSMAN: You don't talk to folks. That really isn't true. Nobody is saying 'thank you' for cutting their healthcare
Ahead of the country’s 250th birthday, TIME asked 25 music experts—including Adam Lambert,to pick a track that captures this moment in the U.S. history, or points to where the culture is headed.
Adam selected " What's Up?" by 4 Non Blondes and said "This song has always felt like a protest. There’s something deeply American about the constant push between frustration and hope, between asking what the hell is going on and still believing there's something worth fighting for. " 🖤

Donald Trump thought he could score cheap political points by calling Bill LeRoy an “insult to Jesus” because the veteran catcher and captain of the Savannah Bananas is “beyond woke” and believes that God does not discriminate on the basis of gender.
Standing in front of a roaring, sold-out Banana Ball crowd, LeRoy didn’t just clap back — he delivered a powerful, no-nonsense response that shook the stadium.
“The president of the United States just said that I insulted Jesus,” LeRoy began, gripping the mic with calm intensity. “You want to know what’s a real insult to Jesus? Turning your back on people who need help while giving more to those who already have everything.”
“You know what insults Jesus?” he continued, gesturing toward the crowd. “Separating families, shutting doors on those in need, and forgetting what ‘love thy neighbor’ actually means. That’s not the message I stand for — and it’s not the message this team stands for.”
“You know what insults Jesus? Preaching values while ignoring compassion. Talking about faith while practicing division. That’s not faith — that’s politics dressed up as religion.”
“I’m not a perfect Christian,” he said, a small smile crossing his face. “There’s only been one perfect man, and I’m not him. I’m just a catcher who believes in treating people right.”
“Jesus told us to love our neighbors as ourselves… So why do we keep choosing hate, division, and fear instead?”
The victory of the opposition in Hungary yesterday, like the Polish election in 2023, is a victory for democracy, not just in Europe but around the world. Most of all, it’s a testament to the resilience and determination of the Hungarian people – and a reminder to all of us to keep striving for fairness, equality and the rule of law.
