Such beautiful thoughts from Leeda, a member of the Voices from the Margins group in India. Leeda eloquently describes herself as a global citizen, embracing the tenets of different ways of life around her, including her cultural roots, and the world she lives in today.
Our group meets every week to discuss, plan, and share personal insights… and laugh a lot. We are beginning to solidify the direction we want to take for our public exhibitions to demonstrate what we’ve been learning about our cultural heritage and cultural identity.
Let the countdown begin!!! Only a few weeks until our ABQ Voices from the Margins group journeys to New Delhi, India. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and pictures throughout our journey! #myculturemystory
