🇦🇿President Ilham Aliyev:
"Indeed, we are living through a historic period. Azerbaijan, through its own strength, put an end to the occupation and restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty. In doing so, it implemented the four UN Security Council resolutions itself. It then offered peace to Armenia and received a positive response."
🇦🇿President Ilham Aliyev:
"Azerbaijan took practical steps after the agreement [with Armenia]. Today Azerbaijan is supplying gasoline and diesel to Armenia, greatly contributing to its energy security."
🇦🇿🇩🇪Chancellor Friedrich Merz, speaking at a press conference with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Berlin:
"Mr. President, we also need peace, security, and stability in the South Caucasus. Germany and the European Union have a strong interest in seeing this geopolitically important region become stable and peaceful.
For that reason, Mr. President, we are especially pleased to welcome you to Germany and congratulate you on the peace treaty that you have concluded between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This is a historic agreement. It offers an opportunity to overcome a conflict that has lasted for decades.
We are ready to do whatever we can, from both the German and the European perspective, to support this process. Greater stability in the region will also create new opportunities for expanding economic cooperation between our two countries."
🇺🇦🇷🇺Former British Army colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon @HamishDBG:
"What Ukraine seems to be trying to do, and I think it is a really smart move on their behalf, is to actually bring the war home to the Russian public. And it is very very significant that Ukraine seems to be almost able to strike at will many many hundreds if not thousands of milometers into Russia."

The Wall Street Journal

"As the war with Iran blows up, cools down from week to week, one trend is clear. The biggest beneficiary of this conflict is China. Beijing did not have to fire a shot, spend vast sums or use up political capital. But it has gained more from this crisis than any other in three decades."
💥 Amazon Data Infrastructure Hit in Bahrain as Iran Expands Strikes across the Region
Iran announced a new wave of military operations on Tuesday, saying its forces struck US military installations in Jordan and Kuwait while also targeting Amazon’s central data infrastructure in Bahrain as part of its ongoing response to US attacks on Iranian territory.
The operations were announced hours after the United States launched another round of strikes against targets across southern Iran.

The attack also damaged several buildings and vehicles.
🇮🇷Retired Army Intelligence Officer Chuck DeVore @ChuckDeVore discusses next steps in the Iran conflict
"I think that 10 days of strikes have two objectives. First of all, to open back that Strait of Hormuz so that oil can flow, and of course, natural gas as well, and goods coming back in. About two-thirds of the oil pre-war is able to get out of the strait today, and of course, Saudi Arabia and UAE are shipping some oil with pipelines that have bypassed, right? So that's number one. Number two, I think you're seeing the administration set the conditions to go after the heart of the terror death cult in Tehran."
🇦🇿🇩🇪President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived at the Villa Borsig residence in Berlin for a meeting with President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

🇺🇸🇮🇷Iran isn’t militarily superior to the United States, but Tehran knows how to hit America’s pressure points.
Ian Bremmer @ianbremmer explains that President Trump knows that higher gas prices and inflation mean a rockier road to midterms.
"Irrespective of what the United States does to Iran, Iran will continue to engage in strikes that will shut down, at the minimum, the Strait of Hormuz. And they have the ability to continue to strike at American bases and, critically, at essential Gulf infrastructure, and that the Americans cannot protect either."
"There were military personnel in the IRGC who secretly communicated with me"
🇮🇷Reza Pahlavi reveals secret contacts with Tehran's elite
Reza Pahlavi, the son of Iran's last Shah, has revealed that he receives hidden signals from representatives of Iran's security agencies, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). According to him, the number of those within Tehran's security establishment seeking a way to distance themselves from the ruling regime is growing.

🇷🇺🇺🇦War Will End Before New Ukrainian Interceptors Can Be Built, Says Prof. Glenn Diesen @Glenn_Diesen
Glenn Diesen, professor of international relations, University of South-East Norway. Editor of Russia in Global Affairs Journal:
"This is going to take a long time. I assume that the war will be over before the first interceptor missiles are actually produced. Furthermore, it is as if the Russians will sit by and wait for this to be built. This is one of the reasons why it is so difficult to build anything in Ukraine. They can be destroyed quite easily by Russia."
