I had it all wrong. It’s not just about habits—it’s about your brain.
I thought discipline was enough. But habits don’t last if your "mindset" is off.
What you see, hear, and believe shapes your actions. Your mind shapes your habits, not the other way around.
You can’t control everything,
but you can control what you feed your mind.
📖 Read quality books, not harmful content.
🚫 Distance yourself from negativity.
🗣️ Use words that push you forward.
Your brain grows in the direction you feed it.
Sign of perfectionist. (Dangerous)
1️⃣ All or nothing—you don’t start if it’s not 100%.
2️⃣ Planning forever, never taking action.
3️⃣ Rewriting, redoing—never “ready.”
4️⃣ Unrealistic standards → feel like a failure.
5️⃣ Saying “I need to stop being a perfectionist”… perfectly.
Earl Nightingale said: "The moment you decide on a goal to work towards, you are immediately a successful person."
I grabbed my iPad, read for 30 mins, and now my habits are coming back. Let's go!
🚨 Your brain can’t tell what’s real or fake.
・It absorbs everything.
・Repeat “I’m bad at this”? Your brain believes it.
・Hear negativity? Your brain makes it real.
・See success online? Your brain thinks you’re behind.
・Your thoughts aren’t always yours.
Most people try to get rid of perfectionism, but that is a sign of perfectionism. It’s not all or nothing, but it can be 20,40,60 or 80. If you take an action, that is a big plus to your life. Let’s show up again tomorrow!
They say you need a strong purpose to wake up early.
I had a dream plan, but even that wasn’t enough.
Then I discovered the 4-hour philosophy:
Your brain’s peak focus is in the morning.
That realization became my reason to wake up earlier.

Escaping Perfectionism Series:
This week, I struggled with
priorities of my golf projects.
A step forward then 3 steps backwards,
but I made my choice.
I could have not decided and
not doing anything. it’s a tough call,
but I am moving forward, right?
"I tried for 6 months and it didn't work."
That's the problem.
You tried for 6 months. You didn't improve for 6 months.
You followed a list of steps and gave up your agency.
You kept doing what wasn't working, didn't realize the problem, and didn't experiment to solve it.
Minimalism in life is like packing for a long backpacking trip—not about taking nothing, but about carrying only what you truly need to make the journey meaningful and enjoyable.
