BREAKING: The NFL Pro Bowl is being eliminated.

On Wednesday, league executives presented to team owners the future of the Pro Bowl, which will no longer have a standalone game — be it tackle or flag football — or games.

Eighty-eight players will receive the Pro Bowl honor with no alternates, corralling a key aspect of the all-star event that had gotten out of whack in recent years.

Renovation on a bookshop in Guildford, England in 1996,revealed a medieval chamber forgotten beneath the ground for some 700 years. Archaeologists have identified it as a Synagogue dating back to the year 1180. The oldest Synagogue remains on the British Isles.

A photo of the historic Great Synagogue in Zhovkva (formerly Żółkiew, Poland/Ukraine), built between 1692 and 1698 and standing as one of the largest and most impressive Renaissance-baroque fortress-style synagogues in Eastern Europe. 1930s in color by Henryk Poddębski. Original in comments.

Built in the late 1690s with support from King John III Sobieski.

Designed with thick walls and loopholes so it could double as a bastion in the town walls during attacks.

World War II: Heavily damaged when German forces set it on fire and tried to blow it up in 1941.

Soviet Era: Used as a warehouse after partial exterior repairs in the 1950s.

It lies in ruins today.
