This is smart game theory - voluntary exits create interesting risk/reward dynamics. Players have to decide when they've accumulated enough to cash out vs staying in for more. Getting killed just resets you without triggering blockchain activity, keeping gas costs minimal.
So essentially deaths are free, but exits cost gas (handled by your relayer). Creates natural stopping points where players evaluate their current winnings vs potential upside of staying in the arena.
So getting killed actually triggers no onchain event (only exits and deposits)
