Players insist in not joining the national side for the Nation League games on 22 and 26 Sept. They have found a legal reason (it was a formally wrong call up by new national coach Montse Tomé) so they do not get punished (could be banned for years for not coming to a call by the national side)
The reason for their insistence? The FA seems to talk the talk (change will take place, they have stated) but not walk the walk (give us time, etc plus the transformation is being done by the same people that have let women's football down)
No real change taking place so far even though the FA has had time (and have the means) to make them, so the 39 that signed a statement not to wear the Spanish shirt till change is deep and structural insist in a new public note that more is needed
Players winning this battle will be exceptionally good for the game in Spain, not just women's football
