I did my weekly quizzy monday post on the other place. There is a refreshing absence of abuse on the #universitychallenge tag. But it’s still sparsely populated.
@gomanga From my limited sample of completed readings, Thousand Autumns… i still think Scum Villain ‘s translation should be thoroughly reworked though.
Since I no longer have the Twitter app installed, I’m afraid this is mostly the end of my quizzy Monday commenting. I’ll miss some of you but I can no longer condone this place. Besides. all the negativity was doing my head in. #universitychallenge#onlyconnect.
Impressive performance by Belfast though…. Also, I like teams with strong accents. It helps me to learn about differentiating them. I still routinely confuse Geordie with Scouse and Scottish with Northern Irish. Tonight’s game will help with that. :)
I don’t think I ever got 32 correct answers in #universitychallenge before. It is therefore most certainly dumbing down….. good to have it back though.
Quizzy Mondays are back but Twitter is increasingly clearly not the right place to squee about clever people. Is there another forum or social media platform where quiz enthusiasts gather to lavish praise on contestants?
After the plot twist at the end of episode 2, I was ready to forget all about Lost Boys And Fairies but I must say the last episode packs quite a punch, emotion wise.
