What a striking coincidence that Artemis II was launched during Holy Week, which reaches its culmination at the Easter Vigil with the words, “In the beginning…”

Within #Creation, God gave us free will. And within that freedom, He planted in the human heart, in varying degrees, a desire to explore.

As we approach our nation’s 250th anniversary, we are mindful that the virtues of our national character that brought us to the threshold of this remarkable accomplishment can only be measured rightly on a scale in which they serve the dignity of all humanity.

The eyes of the global community will be on these brave souls. In that spirit, let us also pray that, in this time of international war and domestic upheaval, this mission may draw us closer to one another as a human family.
