Zoro’s ignorance of his Conqueror’s Haki makes perfect sense when you understand how he learns to fight.

He doesn’t learn the theory first and then apply it. His entire learning process is empirical: he first feels his body and his swords, then learns to reproduce those sensations and only afterwards understands how his power works.

We’ve seen this every time he gets a new sword. He tests it, reads its feel and figures out how to properly wield it.

That kind of learning requires an insane ability to perceive, reproduce and understand your own sensations without external guidance.

And now Gaban has given Zoro the knowledge he was missing. He has to turn something instinctive and physical into something conscious. I can’t wait to see how he figures it out.
