In this race for governor, the smart play is to rank Bronson first, followed by the other two conservatives, and leave the rest off the ballot entirely. Bronson brings the maturity and scars from battling Anchorage’s assembly that the job demands, along with a clear grasp that Alaska’s constitution does not treat the judiciary as royalty. The others talk a decent game on life issues and limited government, yet one still treats court rulings as holy writ while the third dodges scrutiny like a cat avoiding bathwater.
Ranked-choice voting is a nuisance, but exhausting your choices only hands the win to the candidate who would revive every progressive fever dream from expanded abortion access to fresh green mandates and more judicial meddling in elections. Bronson alone shows willingness to wield the constitutional tools that could end the ranked-choice experiment itself, since the original initiative violated the single-subject rule in plain sight. The alternative promises the usual pattern: moderate-sounding promises followed by the same bureaucratic expansion, eroded parental rights, and cultural experiments already visible in schools and libraries.
Voters who care about actual change rather than managed decline should use every available ranking. Anything less risks another term of the status quo dressed up as progress.
@ZybakTV Totally agree. Addons are a crutch to game design and make the game harder for new players to jump in. Not to mention, they make content trivial and become de facto mandatory in many cases.
Blizzard doesn’t have the balls to do it but WoW Forever would be the perfect time to rip the bandaid off….
If I was king there would be zero addons allowed.
Addons are essentially aim assist for MMORPGs. They enable superhuman play. You’re not supposed to be playing perfectly
If the Lindsay Clancy trial has taught us anything, it's that women would empathize with someone who murdered their children more than punish a woman for doing it.
A female vote isn't a logical one.
Your choice, conservative women.
This is how my ballot will look in November for the Governor's Race. You can rank in any way you want. 1,2,3. Just fill in the circle for each Republican in the Order of Preference.
The other two example ballots are in the comments. You can click and download and share with friends, family, co-workers, etc.
Australia does this, they fill out example ballots and share them with their party members.
Australia has been using RCV for 100+ years, I believe they know a thing or two about navigating RCV.
