My grandpa once said:
Your terrible job is the dream of the unemployed. Your house is the dream of the homeless. Your smile is the dream of the depressed. Your health is the dream of the ill. Don't let difficult times make you forget your blessings.
Some of you take these jobs way too seriously. No job is worth snitching on coworkers, skipping breaks, coming in on your days off, working unpaid overtime, or refusing to use your PTO or call out. Especially not for dead-end jobs with zero room for growth.
Nobody:
“I want to be trained into a job I hate, work for 40 years, and get angry at a TV until I die”
90% of the population:
*Does exactly that*
Wake up.
It's okay to get the job because you need money.
It's okay to start a business because you want more.
It's okay to make as much as possible, but if you continue to ignore your unconscious impact on humanity, you'll wonder why your bank is so full, yet your soul is so empty.
Your workmates are not your friends. Listen, everyone is there for an income. Dear son, Avoid gossip. Don't brag. Do your job. Get paid. Go home. Keep your private life to yourself.
underrated career advice is recognizing that you don’t work for your company’s CEO or the head of your group
you work for the person who sits directly above you in rank. always make them look good in front of their boss
the promotions and pay raises will naturally follow
If you are below age 40, find a low-key 9-5 with the LEAST amount of responsibility. Use your extra time to start a side hustle. Then scale your business.
This strategy made me a millionaire.
You don't need to "burn the boats."
Stay in your job
Learn at home
Start a side hustle
As soon as you're making 2x-3x more from your side income,
Then,
And only then,
Consider going all in.
Have ambition,
Shoot for more,
But don't be dumb.
Play it smart.
The best career advice that I can give:
Get a lowkey 9-5 that has the LEAST amount of responsibility and use the extra time to start a side hustle and scale your business from there.
every successful person I know is the same

100% confident

there's no easy way to achieve shit and become someone....
There’s an entire generation of Americans who no longer care about prestige, titles, work travel, fancy offices and lunches. They want a little money in the bank, to have more control over their time, and invest in building great families and lives.
If your job pays well and you have a good work-life balance, don’t put in extra time and effort to get a promotion or switch your job.
Use that effort to build a business or multiple income streams. It’s more fun and can help you free up more of your time in future.
