Dear @BBhuttoZardari why are local govt officials from your Party gloating about dog culling in Karachi and promoting it as the only effective solution for controlling the stray dog population in Karachi. From the animals held captive in Karachi Zoo to the stray dogs on streets no one is being treated humanely.

The Rabies Control Programme Sindh established in 2018 claims to use the TNVR (Trap Neuter Vaccinate Release) but it doesn't appear to be in use. Rabies and dog bites is a serious concern but it means efforts for TNVR should be maximised instead of culling.

This is not an issue of political point scoring nor do I seek RTs. This is an earnest request to realise that animals are living beings with rights and treating them with cruelty robs us of our collective humanity. Hope you do the right thing.
