After a long, slow lake cruise overnight, @American_Cruise Patriot has arrived in Rochester. Still no formal word from the cruise line as to what occurred on Monday on the St Lawrence River.

Hearing reports that @American_Cruise ship, American Patriot, was forced to turn around while en route from Clayton to Ogdensburg after departing without a pilot. Ship was about halfway to Oburg when instructed to return to Cape Vincent for a pilot.

40 years ago, Bluenose II attended Expo 86 in Vancouver. Sailing from Bermuda, through the Panama Canal and up the west coast, the total voyage took almost 6 months and spanned 12,000 nautical miles.
