"I've had a lot of support," said Miller. "They said just let us know when the next one is going to be. We're going to have a barbecue and at the Lions Booth up on top of the hill there. I think it will be probably 2-400 people coming. Tons of support and maybe we can [convince these guys to leave]."

This report by @fra_gravel illustrates a common pattern of violence associated with pseudolaw belief. In this instance law enforcement in Quebec responded to threats against the Prime Minister of Canada and Premier of Quebec by attempting to arrest Germain Lemay in Lemay's residence. At that point a police officer observed Lemay was armed and pointing a gun, and shot Lemay. Lemay survived.
We probably won't know the details of exactly what occurred for some time, however what is known is:
1) Lemay and his spouse were affiliated with pseudolaw beliefs, at least that the true Canadian government is based on the authority of Queen Romana Didulo of the Kingdom of Canada. I'd be unsurprised if that was only one of many related conspiratorial/pseudolaw beliefs.
2) Lemay threatened high level politicians to such a point that law enforcement responded. It's very plausible that what triggered those threats were pseudolaw beliefs in illegal Canadian government authority, and that Lemay perceived himself as improperly/illegally targeted. If this was a pseudolaw-based threat, there will be documentation of some form to substantiate that. Pseudolaw adherents almost always "paper up" their activities.
3) Lemay responded to law enforcement by arming himself, probably in what he viewed as justified self-defence. One of the major issues with pseudolaw is pseudolaw promises extraordinary authority - such as the right to use force - and designates that those who ignore pseudo law-based authority are "outlaws", who are appropriate targets for retaliation/discipline that is correct and justified in law.
In Canada the large majority of reported pseudolaw violence follows this pattern:
1) Someone adopts pseudolaw concepts.
2) They stake out false rights.
3) Government actors enter into what the pseudolaw adherent claims as private/protected spaces.
4) Violence follows, usually initiated by the pseudolaw adherent.
So the Lemay shooting is no surprise. Instead, this scenario played out the way violence usually emerges when pseudolaw is in play. Are all these people violent? No, but the problem is, their belief system authorizes violence.
And so this is the potential foreseeable result.
