@on3 Wrong take. The pre-season rankings need fixing. ASU was preranked last in b12. They had to dig out of that made-up ranking, & continually paid for that. 1/1 showed they deserved that bye and should have been ranked better than 11. It was a 4 vs 5 game… not a 11 vs 5 game.

@atrupar When ASU was decimated by injuries in ‘23.. Skat at points played QB, and played punter… besides every other thing he does. Skat/ASU was ignored by media too long and folks missed an amazing player.. but on 1/1 folks saw some of what we have experienced the last 2 years.

@JohnnyGB412 @TheHerdBros 2023 ASU-on their 4th string qb, had > 30 out injured during the season , 14 out > 5 games, avg down 11 players a game, lost most their offensive line. Skatt literally played multiple rolls including punter and QB at points during that season. Can’t use 2023 as baseline.

@ASU_SuperFan Yup. Ditto Brendon. Also..4+ days off is enough for students to go places for break.. (and some schedule no classes on Fridays) For local az students, if they have K-12 siblings off, there is also the potential for family trips or just taking a break at home.

@d_feldman Not everyone had that privilege of no concern. There were students/schools dealing with gun/gang violence preColumbine. Late 80s, metal detectors in my high school, a gun drawn at my jr high. Yes. Concern jumped from pockets to national, with access to high capacity weapons.
