@alexforbes__ We are a Xero exclusive office. We like the Partner Cash version for personal finance. It's $10 a month, with excellent bank feeds and a mobile app option. Several of my business clients use it as well as my employees. I'm sure a simple version of QBO could be used the same way
@TwylaVerhelst I've worn glasses since grades school for nearsightedness & astigmatism but a few years ago found I couldn't look at a computer with glasses on while simultaneously looking out at a class of students. Progressive lenses made such a difference!
@shawngorham French press every morning. We've had to go decaf as of a few years ago, but Amazon has some decent options that even my Colombian husband (and raised on a coffee farm) approves of. We like Gevalia.
@BkkprGal I no longer prepare taxes, but my background comes in handy. sor. Bookkeepers have a front row seat to the lives of their clients and often proactively spot tax issues. When I see a potential issue or benefit, I encourage my client to talk to their tax advisor.
@NayoCarterGray Agreed! Most of us can't make a living doing what we are most passionate about. So if we have a job we are good at that allows us the freedom to pursue what is really important to us, we should consider ourselves blessed.
@KJSAcct During the pandemic, we got tired of the same background for everything in our lives and decided to hang a green screen. We took pictures of different parts of our house and used them as our "fake" backgrounds. We had "professional" looks and busier "family and friends" looks.
@cbriancpa@BankofAmerica It all depends on the US Mail, which isn't very reliable anymore, and where they are coming from & going to. One of my clients used to send a lot of checks this way - the problem is you don't realize they aren't clearing. If you use https://t.co/5LchL2W9cP so you can track them.
The House of Representatives has passed a tax deal that would restore bonus depreciation, put an early end to the Employee Retention Credit, and expand the Child Tax Credit. Now, it moves to the Senate.

@cordes_tax @taxtherapist505 @JoshYoungblood Dext Commerce - (formerly Greenback) can set up batch processing to get the info you need into your accounting software the way you need it. I'm using it with a client using Xero with Square in multiple locations.
@NikkWinstonCPA I've dogsat Cavaliers, and although adorably cute, there is no brain up there and not much personality either. They are also gypsies and love to wander. They'll go home with anyone, so be careful they don't slip out the door on you.
If you're seeing the TurboTax advertisements, just remember that if you qualify for filing your return for free, use https://t.co/xLwNPJg2s7
Some of the other sites will trick you into paying when you shouldn't have to.

Y'know how we have various MFA processes for different software? and some of those require an app on your phone?
IF YOU GET A NEW PHONE, remember that simply syncing old phone to new phone WILL NOT SYNC logins or codes, etc. for MFA apps.
