Never give up!
Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands tripped with one lap to go in a preliminary heat of the women's 1500m but got back up to continue the race.
She ended up winning her heat to advance. #TokyoOlympics
@StuartMcoaching@DrSkillAcq@IanPeekCoaching But more importantly Stu what do you think of the motion and what would you change for no reason other than aesthetics 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The debate is a stale one at best. I design practice programs for elite golfers and I NEVER think about this.
I ask myself:
1-“Is this player training to learn or perform?”
2-“What is the optimal amount of spacing, variability, challenge & contextual interference they require”
As the “blocked Vs Random” debate drags on, I urge anyone who wants to understand effective practice to ignore this debate and research the terms “spacing, variability, challenge, context, interleaving, serial.” Knowing these terms will actually make a difference to performance
The value of golf to both mental and physical well being was demonstrated in our first lockdown, although it has always been the case with our sport. All it requires is respect for the social distancing guidelines for it to do it again @RandA@EnglandGolf https://t.co/F9Xd3zIej8
My asthma inhaler costs me $65 copay and I was told costs the insurance company $340. One inhaler contains 0.09g of active ingredients so that’s just about $4500 per gram. Gold is only $60 per gram. 😳😳😳
Anyone else scratching there head now at the “Eat out to help out” slogan over summer? To me just shows how badly the government have handled COVID19. Implicit in the message is “crack on we are over this”. Seems like no planning for long term.
