There was a pro car protest at #HighPark yesterday. It went as expected... Road violence & threats of physical force against VRUs. Another day in the life for us, another example of why we need a car free High Park @JohnTory @TorontoPolice stoked this madness #BikeTO 1/2

If I get on my bike for my morning commute (as I did today) or if I get in my car for my morning commute I pay exactly the same taxes.

This idea that cyclists do not pay taxes is just weird.

I am as entitled to the road on my bike as I am when I get in my car.

Not once in my time in office has a resident told me that Toronto is in dire need of an exclusive spa and an expensive amusement park. I do hear many requests for more free public parks, playgrounds, swimming pools with longer opening hours, and community centres. #Onpoli
