Last week in the Cairngorms @theiaincameron took me to some remarkable locations that felt more like Antarctica than Scotland - hoping to have the video up Wednesday 7pm- maybe a tonic for the current hot weather #heatwave
I'm old enough to remember EU Structural Funds targeting the poorest areas, such as the Highlands and Islands, building roads and infrastructure.
The UK government promised this would continue post Brexit, they lied.
Today I joined a group of Miamians in Little Havana to welcome Scotland’s famous Tartan Army to the 305. After hearing stories about the unforgettable reception they received in Boston, we had shirts made that read: “The 305 Loves the Tartan Army.”
What happened next surprised us.
We thought we were there to welcome them. Instead, they welcomed us.
They were loud, funny, gracious, and full of life. Within minutes, complete strangers felt like old friends. It reminded me why their reputation travels wherever they go.
I’ve visited Scotland before and experienced that same warmth and hospitality firsthand. Today, they brought a little bit of Scotland to Little Havana.
They say, “No Scotland, No Party.” After today, I believe it.
Welcome to Miami, Tartan Army. The 305 is glad you’re here. 🇺🇸🤝🏴 #TartanArmy #WorldCup2026 #Miami

He has outlived his usefulness.
Watch closely where he ends up.
The cushy position will be his little token of thanks from the Establishment. Blair territory. Morally despicable.
Ireland is full……… of beautiful human beings.
Blaming the person who arrives with their belongings in a plastic bag for your problems, when it’s the faceless parasitic fuckers with investment portfolios who caused all of them.
We are a nation of economic migrants.
I am one.
the part they never teach you:
inflation is permanent.
$6 coffee doesn’t go back to $3.
your only defense is earning more.
but the moment workers ask for that they call it a threat to the economy.
whose economy.
