@mattcolville I have always wanted a stat to differentiate between "acrobatic agility" and "fine manual dexterity". that both are tied into one always felt not quite right. We separate strength and toughness and mental stats, but just leave agility/dex as one lump.

We see so many more POC gamers, openly LGTBQ+ gamers, and more recognition of female gamers. they've all always been there, but can be more out and open now. Tent is plenty big, the game grows, the culture grows and I'm happy for it. This old man welcomes the new generation.

There is a stupid #ttrpg post(not gonna share and signal boost it) floating around about gamers under 35 not being able to judge or speak cause they weren't bullied like us old folks, and man fuck that ENTIRELY. I'm near 40, got bullied, made fun of, and etc for being a nerd 1/3

But I'm happy younger people are finding games like D&D and progressing it, evolving it, letting it grow. TTRPGs are my biggest passion hobby, but don't let a hobby be your only self definition to the point that it rules you. A LOT of these younger gamers suffer too. 2/3
