BREAKING: Donald Trump suffers a major blow as a prominent conservative scholar rips into him for being a threat to democracy — and endorses Kamala Harris for president.

This is sending shockwaves through the Republican Party...

"In the presidential election of 2024 there is only one political party and one candidate for the presidency that can claim the mantle of defender and protector of America’s Democracy, the Constitution, and the Rule of Law," wrote retired federal appeals court Judge J. Michael Luttig in a statement.

"As a result, I will unhesitatingly vote for the Democratic Party’s candidate for the Presidency of the United States, Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris," he added.

Luttig is a highly respected figure on the right who was appointed by George H.W. Bush. It will be the first time he has ever voted for a Democrat. If Trump is scaring off devoted conservatives like this, his campaign is really in dire straits.

"In voting for Vice President Harris, I assume that her public policy views are vastly different from my own but I am indifferent in this election as to her policy views on any issues other than America’s Democracy, the Constitution, and the Rule of Law, as I believe all Americans should be," wrote Luttig.

He slammed Trump for waging a "war on America’s Democracy.”

"Because of the former president’s continued, knowingly false claims that he won the 2020 election, millions of Americans no longer have faith and confidence in our national elections, and many never will again," he explained.  "Many Americans – especially young Americans, tragically – have even begun to question whether constitutional democracy is the best form of self-government for America."

"The time for America’s choosing has come," he went on. "It is time for all Americans to stand and affirm whether they believe in American Democracy, the Constitution, and the Rule of Law, and want for America the same – or whether they do not."

Judge Luttig is absolutely right. This election is bigger than political parties, bigger than left and right. Donald Trump is a convicted felon and blatant fascist. If he wins, American democracy will not survive.

BREAKING: A Medal of Honor recipient torches Donald Trump for his vile claim that the Presidential Medal of Freedom he gave to one of his donors is "actually much better" than the Medal of Honor.

"I can't believe we have to have this conversation but here we are. "Well, many do, but many don't," replied Jacobs. "Despite the fact that Donald Trump is one of the most inept public speakers I've heard, and I'm an old person, so I've heard a great number of public speakers, and you often don't know what it is he's saying, not convinced that he knows what it is he's saying. He drifted off in castigating people who have served and sacrificed and can't tell the difference between the Medal of Freedom and the Medal of Honor."

Jacobs then slammed Trump as a "man who, as you said, denigrated people who served and sacrificed so that he can enjoy the freedom that he enjoys now."

"And if it weren't for these people, he wouldn't be in the position where he could — and all of us wouldn't be in the position — where we can enjoy freedom," he continued. "This is also the guy who managed to avoid serving because of a really deleterious heel spur on his foot."

"All that notwithstanding, the problem in this regard is that Donald Trump does not understand some of the things which in history have described how we get to a position where we can have freedom," Jacobs went on. "That is through the service and sacrifice of others."

"I'm reminded of the observation of Hillel, that first-century Hebrew scholar who wrote 'If I am only for myself, what am I?'" Jacobs said. "Well, if you're only for yourself, you're probably Donald Trump."

"Or the observation, almost as poignantly, of John Stewart Mill, who wrote about war," he continued. "Trump ought to like him, because he was something of an individualist and a libertarian, who wrote that 'a man for whom nothing is more important than his own safety is a miserable creature, who is made free and kept free by better men than he.'"

Indeed and well said. Trump is a miserable creature who has zero respect for our military veterans, no love for our country, and nothing but contempt for our values.

The Harris campaign revealed that she will push for the "first-ever federal ban" on food price hikes and empower federal authorities to enforce them. She will also be revealing plans to lower prescription drugs and housing costs.

The conversation also resulted in the aforementioned labor charges, filed by the United Auto Workers union, because Trump praised Musk for firing workers who threatened to strike. Doing such a thing is illegal under federal law.

Trump's Truth Social outburst was clearly prompted by the devastating coverage of the conversation.

BREAKING: MAGA world gets rocked with bombshell news as Donald Trump's former attorney Jenna Ellis cuts a cooperation deal with Arizona officials in the infamous "fake elector" case.

And it gets even better...

In return for the state dropping the nine felony charges against her, Ellis will cooperate by providing crucial information and materials to law enforcement officials. Additionally, she has agreed to testify "at any time and place."

On top of that she sat for a documented proffer session with the attorney general's office in June.

"This agreement represents a significant step forward in our case," said Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes. "I am grateful to Ms. Ellis for her cooperation with our investigation and prosecution. Her insights are invaluable and will greatly aid the State in proving its case in court."

This marks the second cooperation deal cut by Ellis. She previously pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with officials in Georgia for working to overturn the 2020 election. When she appeared in court, she denounced her actions.

"If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump, in these post-election challenges," Ellis said at the time. "I look back on this whole experience with deep remorse."

I’m getting more updates about Republicans who voted for Trump - who live on Staten Island, in Scarsdale, and the Hamptons, and in the West Coast in southern California - who are now going to vote for Kamala Harris. And who’s convincing them? Their grandchildren and their domestic workers.

Grandchildren are begging their grandparents not to support Trump again. They are upset about losing g their right to control their own bodies and what they hear about Project 2025.

Now their housekeepers and home Health Care workers are also chiming in saying that Kamala Harris is the one they want to see as president. Immigration is a big issue for those voters who know how hard it is for immigrants to survive, and they don’t want the situation to get any worse.

They’re concerned for themselves and for their daughters that if Trump becomes president, and know they will lose many of the freedoms that they enjoy now.

They’re especially concerned about Project 2025. They know that Trump is lying when he says he doesn’t know anything about it. They don’t believe him one bit.

Don’t underestimate the pressure that this younger generation can put onto older generation to change their votes. It’s happening. If it’s happening here, it’s happening in swing states too.
