@WillB_2003 I’m actually quite pleased that my first thought was one of fury, not because we didn’t get him but where he’s gone. Hope he is top scorer for a relegated team next season 🤢
@jamierkennedy@TainGolfClub I was a member at Tain for a year when I was studying up in Dornoch. Was brilliant. Certainly learned to hit it straight that year!
@jodybrown2012 Appreciate this post is before the EFL evidence Jody but having seen that, it looks way beyond foolish. intern doing it has been forced to, the defence seems to be “yeah but we admitted it” - very troubling that they’ve gambled on not being hit this hard, presumably why they have
@wokingfc Can already see it. “Jermain Defoe’s new club has stadium capacity HALVED following local derby”
Great PR folks. Almost as bad as the wording of the statement. Almost.
@Faulkne99553264 The first one is a shambles of a decision but to call the second harsh is a bit blinkered. He’s changed direction to stamp on his opponent’s foot, whilst the ref is looking at him from three yards away.
#3up should absolutely happen but it really does make me laugh how many people only realise it should happen when their team is at risk of being gazumped in the playoffs.
@wokingfc Such a shame for them. I really wanted this to work but it hasn’t, they’ve been badly let down by those around them but the performances have gone backwards so badly it seemed inevitable.
@jodybrown2012@wokingfc If I was giving up we wouldn’t be having this interaction. We’re now closer to the bottom than 7th but I’m reading this as “keep the faith” which again, I don’t think people needed to hear tonight.
