#FairPlay Sunday: Argentina vs Spain
We all know the debates that light up our group chats. We have those that support Messi; we have others that believe FIFA favors Argentina. It’s a fierce, passionate debate.
But while we argue over a referee's subjective decision on a pitch in America, we are ignoring a massive, objective foul right here at home.
Through #CAB3, the game has been changed to suit a select few.
We voted this government into office based on a specific set of rules. #FairPlay means playing by those rules and stepping down in 2028. Unilaterally extending a term limit to 2030 is the ultimate unsporting conduct. It’s a blatant foul on the citizens of Zimbabwe.
This Sunday, as Argentina takes on Spain, the world will be watching. Let’s use the global stage to send a domestic message.
🟨 The Yellow Card Campaign 🟨
We are calling on every citizen to blow the whistle.
Step 1: Get a yellow card. Cut out a piece of yellow paper, use a yellow card from a game, or keep a bright yellow image ready on your phone screen.
Step 2: This Sunday, during the match, whether you are at a local bar, home with family, or watching with friends, raise your yellow card.
Step 3: Take a photo holding your yellow card and post it online with the hashtags:

FIFA referees have the power to caution players. But #WeThePeople have the ultimate power to caution our leaders.
This Sunday, blow the whistle. Show the yellow card. Demand absolute #FairPlay in our country.

Every regime display of arrogance and opulence should strengthen our resolve instead of dampening our spirits.
Whether Mnangagwa's Constitutional coup succeeds or not, we need a formidable voice and platform to defend what is left of our Constitution. We have to defeat CAB3 and still stand firm in defence of Constitutionalism on the other side this Bill.
It has to be done. Wherever you're, however you do it, make an effort to join progressive voices to #DefendTheConstitution.

As the continent commemorates Africa Day, CDF maintains that we cannot meaningfully celebrate Africa Day in a Zimbabwe where many remain politicallyexcluded. Its time to return to the spirit of Ubuntu: one that calls for freedom, justice & prosperity for all!

Hello Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
Don’t be fooled, any extension of the term has nothing to do with saving our national coffers, if anything it is about them extending their time to loot from the coffers even more.
Reject #CAB3
Harare Hospital is in crisis. Nurses are on go-slow after being shortchanged. No basic medicines. Lives are being lost while public funds are diverted to luxury cars for the connected few. This is a failure of priorities—and of accountability. #LetsSaveZimbabwe
Throughout history, the Diaspora has been pivotal in amplifying the clarion call for liberation. While far from home, a loud and clear voice can draw the world's ears to the plight of the people of Zimbabwe.
Oh London, embrace us!
I’ve always shared with colleagues & anyone who cares to listen that at some point the opposition developed a culture which frustrates & pushes out many. However, I advise comrades that in the worst case, there is always an option to stay at home & focus on your family. This thing of joining the murderous & ruinous party called ZanuPF is an extreme stretch and it has no justification. That said, let’s continue defending the Constitution together. CDF will be at the Zimbabwe Embassy in London to protest against the unconstitutional Constitutional Amendment.
Our @cdfzim Deputy Spokesperson Chiedza Mlingwa shares our position regarding the removal of Jessie Majome from the position of Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission.
We believe that her removal is a well calculated and retaliatory move which is clearly designed to silence dissent and intimidate independent constitutional bodies.
Cases like this points to the lack of constitutionalism in Zimbabwe, and it gives us a reason to continue organizing and building a strong organization aimed at advancing constitutionalism.
This is a snippet extracted from a longer press briefing.
Let’s defend the Constitution together!
To the Government of Zimbabwe:
We demand the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3, in its entirety. It is a redundant and regressive piece of legislation that serves only to undermine the constitutional, democratic, and institutional foundations of our nation.

The denial of bail to Takunda Mhuka is deeply unjust and unacceptable. It reflects a justice system that is failing to uphold fairness, proportionality, and the basic rights of individuals. We cannot normalise this. I call on all who believe in justice to stand in solidarity and demand his release.
#FreeTakundaMhuka
Our position is that ZANU PF should withdraw the bill because it is flawed and the process has been flawed. If they don't then Let's have a REFERENDUM then. This is the message we are taking to all our local federations & international campaigns.
The defence of the Constitution has entered a decisive phase. The flawed, violent, and exclusionary public hearings have exposed a process that lacks legality and legitimacy. Any attempt to amend the Constitution outside its prescribed safeguards is a violation of the people’s sovereignty and must be firmly resisted.
We call on all Zimbabweans to assert their constitutional rights, reject this Bill, and stand in active defence of the Constitution. This is a moment for collective, decisive action. The people must rise, and the Constitution must be defended.

We must never overlook her work and dedication for a better Zimbabwe. Advocate Mahere exemplifies strong leadership. Well done for representing the masses under a repressive government.
