I was 16 when Jaylen got drafted and I’m 26 now. Through the best and worst moments of my young adult life I could turn on the TV and count on #7 to absolutely detonate on someone at the rim.

Watching him grow from a promising prospect, to a rising star, to an All Star/All-NBA talent was *extremely* cool.

It was 10 amazing, frustrating, exciting, ugly, beautiful, disappointing, fulfilling years. Not always perfect, but it wasn’t supposed to be.

That ring in ‘24 brought a perfect closure to the story for me even if it didn’t quite end there.

I feel some sadness with the end of an era.. but not dread. I enjoyed this journey thoroughly and didn’t take it for granted.

@himbo_urbanist ..is one of our maintenance facilities, so not sure exactly where a station would go (obviously this could be hashed out). I think the biggest improvement to this area would be expanding Green Line further from Union Square to Porter and connecting Green to Red!

@himbo_urbanist commuter rail conductor and Somerville resident here; this is roughly dead center between Porter (as mentioned by others) and Belmont station, which is already one of the shorter distances between stations on the Fitchburg line… also the building pictured with rail connection..
