Symbolics Technologies LLC owns the IP of the former Symbolics. We are in the process of making Genera and the VLM available gratis for non-commercial use. It’s taking longer than I’d like but it’s getting closer. Can’t give a timeframe yet.
(I invented the Portable Genera name and now wish I hadn’t. It’s just Genera.)
I’ve built a Forth 2012 implementation in Common Lisp for a client. Today, I was give permission to make it public. MIT license, CCL and SBCL, includes an FFI as well. https://t.co/iP09O6w98R

@mikeroySoft @its_hemantk You can use the UTM app in the Mac App Store to virtualize macOS on Apple silicon. It uses the high-level Virtualization framework and works reasonably well. (I use it to run beta macOS VMs. It also supports Apple’s support for Rosetta in Linux VMs.)
@ijustine Sorry. Same thing happened to me. Never had this much trouble before. Very in-demand config. Can’t get in-store pickup anymore either. But, higher storage or other colors, no problem.
@florinpop17 1968, Fortran and IBM 1130 assembler. Next year modified the 1130’s OS to track time to bill usage at MIT Sloan School. (1130 had no clocks. How left as exercise to the reader.)
@larsbrinkhoff @bitsavers Actually it is SPCWAR 163 from November 1976. I took the date from change comments in the file but that wasn’t the most recent entry. I also have NEWWAR 164. (Can’t remember why I started that one back then.)
