"defending my faves" is NEVER an excuse for harassing, intimidating, or driving someone to their death. Your words have weight. She was human, she had feelings and dreams, but instead you cared more about an idol who doesn't know you. Seriously disgusting and inhuman.
this is pure demonic behaviour she was in tears during this stream, you can see a NOOSE. in the background yet the fans are still harassing her, no sane human is capable of such evil.
all this poor girl did was ask a member to give another one flowers. everyone called her behavior parasocial, but the lengths y’all went through to “defend” your fav wasn’t?
toxic fandom culture normalized cyberbullying so much to the point that sending death threats, harassing, dehumanizing, and bullying her consistently for 5 days despite her apologising across multiple platforms and owning up to her actions wasn’t considered abnormal. it was entertainment to these bullies.
the lack of compassion and empathy this fandom has to see this girl go live and clearly show signs of wanting to take her own life and talking about mental struggles yet all they did was ridicule and encourage her to do it and reduced it to her wanting attention. they’re still bullying her even after her death.
STOP being cruel and inhumane. there are real people behind these accounts. cyberbullying is unfortunately so normalized in the kpop space. whether it’s against fans or idols, it should never be encouraged. think twice before tweeting and please learn that your actions have consequences. you’re responsible and you’ve contributed to her and her family’s pain. be kinder.
when will yall understand that this is not a fandom issue, neither kpop fans issue. it’s internet as a whole, you spent time here attacking people, sending dts forgetting you’re doing it to a real person. limits are always crossed and reflecting only happens when it’s too late.
