@pathfinder17m @JeffGrenz I think it’s worse. It’s the commotization of skill and the removal of artisans from the process. No need for a carpenter to make structural decisions if a laborer can slap up a Simpson hanger. Simple plans need implementation by someone skilled. Very detailed plans do not.

@buildnbluegrass Exactly that. But don’t build it in a vacuum. Call all your subs and ask them how long they will need. What is important to them to be able to finish quickly. Figure out how you want to sequence things.

And it I’ll always be changing. Update it regularly.

@pathfinder17m I went to a Starbucks today in an upscale neighborhood in San Francisco and a woman literally had her 40lb + dog laying down on top of one of the tables.

Given that the manager was not kicking out a disruptive homeless man, the dog seems like a small issues. But I agree.
