I just woke up, showered, made coffee… and I’m still not over her. Remielle is one of the best written characters in ZZZ right now for me. Honestly, one of the strongest I’ve seen. Both mentally and physically. She’s not trying to be Elysia or anyone else. She’s simply someone who lost everything and somehow refused to break the way you’d expect. Her lore is basically how she has only been awake for five minutes in a world that moved on without her. Her friends are gone. The Eridu they loved is gone. All that remains is this playful, teasing mask she never takes off, and underneath it, a woman who is exhausted, lonely, and quietly screaming for someone to notice she’s drowning. What gets me most is that she never turns cruel. She has every reason to hate this new world. Instead she keeps throwing herself in front of it, ready to die if it means the people who still hold onto hope get to keep it. She’s given up on herself completely… yet she refuses to give up on everyone still fighting for a better tomorrow. She’s seen how this world still clings to movies, food, milk tea, all those small, beautiful things people enjoy every day even in a place where they shouldn’t matter. Humans need something to hold onto, something that keeps them feeling human without losing their minds. Without those tiny anchors, most of us would have gone insane long ago. And somehow, Remielle still understands that.

This scene where we’re just… drying her wings.. It felt so intimate. Like for once the mask slipped and you could finally see how tired she really is. How badly she wants someone to tell her she doesn’t have to keep smiling through it. I want her to live long enough to see the world change. Not as another tragic sacrifice. Just as someone who finally gets to rest, knowing the people she loved didn’t fight for nothing. Hoyoverse... please keep writing characters like this. This is exactly my cup of milk tea.
