@Careline365 @macmillancancer ‘Careline’ is a misnomer. They don’t care at all. Try phoning, it takes forever & when you get through they say if you’re waiting for a refund after returning equipment they’re running at least a month behind, can’t say when it will be processed. @afneil They save approx £1.3 billion on winter fuel allowence but have plans to send £11.6 billion abroad for "climate aid" Pensioners also pay the subsidy for green energy as others. Living on a state pension with no other income is not going to be easy this winter.

Last month Labour insisted it had “no plans” to change the winter fuel allowance for pensioners. Today it scrapped it for 10m pensioners. Confirming the old adage that, when a politician says they have “no plans” to do something, it means they’re going to do it — but just not telling us.
