✅ Why Pest Management was Crucial:
🦠 Prevented disease spread (West Nile, leptospirosis, etc.)
🏚️ Protected rebuilding efforts from termite and rodent damage
🚫 Reduced infestations before they got out of control
Pest control is about safety, sanitation, and survival.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the flooding, debris, and standing water created the perfect storm—not just for rebuilding challenges, but for pest outbreaks.
Rodents, mosquitoes, termites, and other pests thrive in post-disaster environments, posing serious health risks.

It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of long-time Billiot Pest Control employee John Dodgen. John started his career with Billiot back in 1991. Throughout the years he has touched everyone who crossed his path. He will be deeply missed.
