In 2017, I initiated robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy, hypothesizing it would reduce leakage. My intuition was validated, and now I advocate for insurance coverage to increase access to robotic surgeries.

The ILLS STC 2024 in Kyoto was a tremendous success, drawing 511 participants from across the globe. The event featured in-depth discussions led by pioneers in robotic hepatectomy, focusing on critical topics such as liver transplantation and robotic surgery for PHC.
